The increase of the gross national salary to 2080 lei will indirectly influence the internship indemnity.

Thus, with the entry into force of Law no. 176/2018 regarding internship, the indemnity paid to those practicing such internships was regulated to at least 50% of the gross national minimum wage.

If, at present, this allowance is at least 950 lei gross, from January 1, 2019, the interns will be paid with a minimum gross allowance of 1,040 lei.
